Product Description:

The GE DS200UCIAG1ACC is a critical UC2000 Motherboard for GE’s Drive Control system, exclusively situated on the system’s R core. As the main printed wiring board in the UC2000 lineup, it acts as a central hub for integrating key sub-components: it provides connectors for mounting the UCPB CPU daughterboard, PANA ARCNET no-LAN driver board, up to two GENI boards, and a PDAD hard drive. Beyond physical integration, it uses a built-in 196 microprocessor to translate fuel skid pressure signals from the TCSA board, then transmits these processed signals to the UCPB board for use in the system’s control sequence software—linking sensor data to operational logic.


Key Features:
Central Component Integration:Its core role is enabling modular assembly of the UC2000 system: it hosts connectors for the UCPB CPU (the system’s processing core), ARCNET driver for network communication, GENI boards for expanded I/O, and PDAD hard drive for data storage. This centralized mounting eliminates disjointed wiring, streamlining system architecture and simplifying maintenance.


Built-In Signal Processing:The integrated 196 microprocessor is dedicated to translating fuel skid pressure signals from the TCSA board. This on-board processing ensures signals are formatted correctly for the UCPB board, reducing latency in control sequence execution and enhancing the accuracy of fuel-related turbine/drive operations—critical for maintaining efficiency and safety.


Minimal, Purpose-Driven Hardware:It includes only essential hardware for functionality and diagnostics: 1 factory-test-only jumper (JP1), 2 diagnostic test points (TP1, TP2) used per process specifications, and LEDs (DNI) whose status is defined by process software. It also features a fan connector (P14) that supplies 5V power to the optional UCPB board fan, supporting thermal management of the CPU daughterboard.


Structured Replacement Procedure:Safety and precision are prioritized in its replacement: users must power down the unit, open the door via the top-middle thumb screw, and disconnect microGENI daughterboards/connectors first. Switches and pots on the new board must match the old one’s settings; daughterboards are gently removed to protect UCIA pins, and reassembly aligns with six plastic standoffs for secure seating—minimizing damage risk and ensuring post-replacement functionality.


R Core-Specific Design:Tailored for the system’s R core, it ensures optimal compatibility with the core’s power and signal pathways. This dedicated design avoids compatibility issues common with generic motherboards, reinforcing the Drive Control system’s reliability in industrial applications like turbine or heavy-duty drive operations.
